Job summary

Arvum Senior Living, part of the Discovery Senior Living family, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for Addington Place of Des Moines. You will provide leadership for residents' health and well-being and coordinate the personal care staff schedule in partnership with the Director of Health & Wellness.

Qualified candidates must hold a current RN license, have experience in assisted living or home health, and demonstrate strong assessment, medication administration, and triage skills.

Qualifications

• Maintain current state RN license per state regulations.
• Experience in assisted living, home health or care industries.
• Two years nursing experience; one year nursing management preferred.
• Competence in assessment, injections/medication administration, follow up and triage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the health and well-being of residents with the Director of Health & Wellness.
• Develop and implement the personal care staff schedule.
• Fill in for call-offs and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations related to clinical care.
• Collaborate to assess resident needs and update service plans.
