Job summary

The Administrative Director of Nursing at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital leads nursing operations, workforce planning, regulatory readiness, and nursing excellence initiatives to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, you will partner with hospital leaders to optimize staffing, standardize processes, mentor the AC/house supervisor team, and guide the pathway to Magnet or similar recognition. First shift, days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and minimum 5 years of experience; RN required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing across shifts.
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support nursing leaders with real-time operational decisions.
• Mentor and develop Administrative Coordinators and house supervisors.
• Coordinate dialysis workflows and collaboration with contracted providers.
• Drive Magnet or similar nursing excellence initiatives.
