Job summary

Luminis Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced nurse leader to coordinate the nursing service across shifts, providing clinical expertise and directing problem solving in collaboration with the Unit Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3 years in acute care with leadership responsibilities, and current RN licensure with BLS and ACLS. Proficiency in MS Word/Outlook/Excel and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of active nursing experience in an acute care setting with one-year progressive charge/supervisor responsibilities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Growth and Development across the lifespan.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Directs hospital operations on assigned shifts ensuring effective interdepartmental relations.
• Ensures staffing aligns with patient census and acuity.
• Inputs assignments, call outs, and cancellations for Flex Nursing Unit scheduling.
• Implements nursing process to provide patient care.
• Leads in liaising with patients, families and staff in clinical and administrative situations.
