Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Austin, TX seeks a Full-Time Clinical Faculty - Mental Health to educate and mentor the next generation of nurses. This role engages in the full scope of the academic nurse educator responsibilities, including curriculum alignment, learner assessment, and scholarship, while supporting students in clinical settings.

The successful candidate will hold an MSN, possess active RN licensure, and bring at least two years of clinical RN experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the applicable state.
• MSN required; BSN considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two years of RN clinical experience.
• Ability to design and implement assessments and PSLOs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning and learner development in classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Implement assessment strategies and evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain professional practice knowledge aligned with state board regulations.
• Contribute to scholarship and faculty development.
• Support students preparing for contemporary nursing practice.
