Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a licensed Medication Aide to join our care team in Grayson, GA. You will administer medications as ordered, assist with daily living activities, and monitor patients' conditions.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and administers resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration.
• Provides personal hygiene care including bedpans, baths, and showers; assists with mobility and transfers.
• Assists with daily living activities such as meals, mobility, and nourishment between meals.
• Maintains patient stability by monitoring vital signs and recording intake/output.

**Eligibility based on location

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
