Job summary

Waterstone of Grayson, a Sonida Senior Living community, seeks a dedicated Medication Aide to support residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to a safe, caring environment.

Responsibilities include documenting vitals, aiding in mobility, and supporting therapeutic care plans while maintaining licensure and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as Medication Aide in Georgia.
• Active, unencumbered licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians per standards.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance and help with ADLs as directed.
• Assist with meals, hydration, mobility, and positioning for residents.
• Monitor vital signs and weight, document intake/output and care notes.

Medication Aide Responsibilities Include

• You will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration, and may supervise CNAs as directed
• Provides patients' personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state as a Medication Aide and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
