Job summary

TruHealing Baltimore is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager to oversee clinical nursing operations across detox and residential SUD programs, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

This full-time day-shift role requires on-call coverage, leadership, and strong collaboration with providers and leadership to support treatment planning and outcomes. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered to join the team.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Maryland (or eligible for endorsement).
• 3–5 years nursing experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Direct experience in substance use disorder treatment, including detox and residential settings required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in behavioral health/SUD treatment.
• Ability to work full-time day shift with flexibility for on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff across detox and residential programs.
• Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
• Supervise, train, and mentor nursing team members, including performance management.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage, including on-call support.
• Collaborate with medical providers, therapists, and leadership to support treatment planning and patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Monitor and improve clinical workflows, documentation, and quality assurance processes.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and ongoing staff development.
• Respond to clinical issues and emergencies as needed.

Position Overview:
TruHealing Baltimore is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Manager to oversee clinical nursing operations within our substance use disorder (SUD) programs, including detoxification and residential treatment services. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective team management in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight to nursing staff across detox and residential programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher

• Prior experience in a supervisory or program management role within behavioral health

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
