• Strong knowledge of rural healthcare, critical access regulations, and standards of care.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months, PALS within 18 months.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of nursing staff and patient care services.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and providers to optimize workflow and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Promote evidence-based practices, quality initiatives, and patient satisfaction.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursing Manager to lead and support nursing operations across multiple departments within our facility. The ideal candidate is a positive, strong communicator and collaborative leader who is passionate about rural healthcare and committed to advancing clinical excellence, patient safety, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day oversight and leadership of nursing staff and patient care services
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and providers to optimize workflow and staffing
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Promote evidence-based practices, quality improvement initiatives, and patient satisfaction
• Oversee scheduling, performance evaluations, and staff education/training
• Monitors and supports staffing needs as needed.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing staff
• Participate in budgeting, policy development, and hospital committees as assigned
• Serve as a resource and mentor to nurses across various departments
• Participate in department quality measures, data collection and presentation.
