Job summary

Weatherly Inn - Renton is seeking a Nursing Manager to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for the Assisted Living and Memory Care departments. You will ensure exceptional resident care, compliance with standards, and high staff performance in a dementia-capable setting.

The role requires an RN/LPN license in Washington, 5+ years of healthcare experience, and at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State nursing license (RN or LPN)
• Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or management experience
• Valid Washington State driver's license
• Current CPR certification, Food Worker Card, and dementia-related certifications, or the ability to obtain them within the required time frame
• Experience working with seniors, including individuals with dementia, is strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment, leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of Assisted Living and Memory Care resident services.
• Conduct resident assessments, develop care plans, and facilitate family care conferences.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation, medication management, and compliance with all clinical standards.
• Lead, train, schedule, mentor, and supervise Assisted Living and Memory Care staff.
• Ensure compliance with Washington State regulations, federal requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate resident care with physicians, families, pharmacies, hospice providers, and other community partners.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff.
• Conduct staff meetings for all shifts and oversee weekly nursing in-service training, as well as required monthly and quarterly departmental meetings.
• Prepare and submit reports requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing.
• Maintain regular communication with the Administrator and Director of Nursing and assist with overall facility operations.
• Promote a positive team culture through coaching, accountability, and continuous quality improvement.

Salary: $41.00 - $43.00 per hour

Position Overview
