Job summary
Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is seeking a Director of the Magnet Program to lead enterprise-wide strategies that advance nursing excellence and Magnet accreditation goals. The role involves coordinating evidence, DDCT submissions, and collaboration with nursing, clinical, and interdisciplinary leaders to improve patient outcomes and care delivery.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing required.
- Doctorate degree preferred.
- Current Illinois RN license required.
- CPR certification required.
- Experience leading Magnet designation or redesignation preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Magnet requirements across SRAlab.
- Oversee Demographic Data Collection Tool (DDCT) submissions to ANCC.
- Consult Nursing leadership on nurse satisfaction metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with unit-based leadership to develop and evaluate action plans from surveys.
- Support Nursing Professional Governance councils with Magnet criteria guidance.
- Lead advancement of the nursing professional practice model and patient care delivery model.
- Direct Magnet program management, including milestones, resources, and budget.
- Represent SRAlab externally in professional organizations and conferences.
