Job summary

The College of Coastal Georgia invites applications for a Lecturer of Nursing on the Brunswick campus. This is an academic year (10-month) non-tenure track appointment and grant funded, beginning August 1, 2027.

The role focuses on undergraduate nursing programs across ASN, BSN, and RN‑to‑BSN tracks with responsibilities in teaching, assessment, and student supervision. Ideal candidates will hold a graduate nursing degree, a current Georgia RN license, and have recent bedside or clinical

Qualifications

Earned graduate degree in nursing.
Current Georgia Nursing License (RN).
Immunization records and CPR certification required by clinical facilities.
Recent bedside nursing experience and/or supervising students in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in the ASN, BSN, and/or RN-to-BSN programs.
Perform course assessment and implement data-driven changes to courses as appropriate.
Supervise nursing students in the clinical setting (healthcare facilities, lab, and simulation).
Online teaching as required.
Maintain on-campus office hours, prepare course lectures, materials, syllabi, course calendar, exams, quizzes, and maintain LMS page to enter grades and announcements.
Participate in course/program assessment and student retention and progression strategies.
Service including department, school, and college committees.
Conduct academic advisement and career counseling.
Travel as needed for clinical and professional development.
