Job summary

California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) is seeking an Instructional Support Technician I to assist the Nursing Learning Center. You will coordinate the schedule, manage inventory and purchasing for the Learning Center, and serve as the simulation technician for all activities in the School of Nursing.

The role requires strong IT and AV skills, ability to work independently, and effective communication with faculty and students.

Qualifications

• Requires experience with instructional support and coordinating schedules.
• Experience with simulation labs and equipment setup preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, technical, and logistical support for the SON Learning Center operations.
• Act as primary scheduler for Learning Center rooms and assist with student tracking systems.
• Manage equipment maintenance, inventory, and supplier purchases.
• Assist faculty with simulation setup and operation of simulators.
• Supervise work-study students under the Learning Center Director.
• Monitor room usage, equipment functioning, and cleanliness.
