California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) seeks an Instructional Support Technician I to support the Nursing Learning Center. The role handles scheduling, inventory, and purchasing for the Learning Center and serves as the simulation technician for nursing simulations.

The position requires coordinating operations, assisting faculty with equipment, and supervising work-study students, with a focus on maintaining safe, functional learning spaces.

Qualifications

• Two years of instructional support experience required.
• Experience setting up and operating patient simulators or similar equipment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; healthcare simulation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional, technical, and logistical support for the SON & Learning Center.
• Schedule SON rooms and assist with Learning Center daily operations and student tracking systems.
• Maintain equipment, procure supplies, and ensure orderly simulation labs.
• Assist faculty in setup and operation of simulators and scenarios.
• Supervise Learning Center work-study students.
