Job summary

Aviata Health Group seeks an exceptional Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at Aviata at Rosewood in Orlando. You will mentor clinical staff, oversee education programs, and help drive nursing goals while ensuring high-quality resident care and compliance with standards.

The role requires active RN licensure, CPR certification, at least 3 years of nursing experience in a similar setting, and at least 1 year in a management capacity.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice.
• CPR certification current.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience in a setting serving the same patient population.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to facility function.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management and clinicians.
• Assist in development and achievement of nursing department goals and educational programming.
• Implement and monitor compliance with policies and standards of practice.
• Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff for resident care.
• Collaborate with department heads to promote interdepartmental relations.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring documentation systems.
• Provide direct resident care as staffing demands.
