Job summary

Complete Care, Inc. seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – RN to supervise daily nursing activities, work with the Director of Nursing, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a compassionate environment for residents.

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, rounds, QA participation, staff staffing, performance evaluations, in-service training, care planning, admissions/discharges, family communication, and enforcing patient safety and rights.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Minimum of one year of experience as an ADON or Nurse Supervisor.
• Preferred: prior LTC or Skilled Nursing experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing and ability to provide direct care when needed.
• Strong leadership and independent decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing functions and ensure adherence to the Nursing Procedures Manual.
• Perform daily clinical rounds to assess resident status and nursing standards.
• Participate in QA programs and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
• Review nurses' notes and charts for accuracy and adherence to care plans and physician orders.
• Maintain appropriate RN/LPN/CNA staffing levels for the shift.
• Lead in-service training and mentor Charge Nurses and staff.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning; liaise with families and physicians.
