Job summary

Goldwater Care Marseilles seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing daily nursing department functions. You will ensure compliance with standards, lead staff, and support a resident-centered care environment.

Responsibilities include developing policies, coordinating with departments, and providing leadership to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited nursing degree and current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop nursing staff in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct day-to-day functions of the nursing department.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for nursing operations.
• Ensure staff training and readiness to provide high-quality care.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
