Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a seasoned nursing leader to administer the nursing program in a long-term care facility, ensuring high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance. You will advise medical staff and leadership on nursing strategies and supervise the nursing team to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, performance reviews, and collaboration with marketing and community outreach to support program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Five years nursing experience required.
• RN license in good standing with State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility to maintain standards of resident care.
• Facilitates the optimization of the geriatric care process to improve quality and efficiency of service.
• Advises medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies.
• Monitors operations of nursing staff and ensures compliance with regulations and governmental standards and practices.
• Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews.
