Job summary

Highland Springs is a vibrant continuing care community within Erickson Senior Living seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations across Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Memory Care. You’ll guide outcomes, mentor a diverse team, and uphold person-centered care in a dynamic, resident-focused environment.

The role emphasizes staffing aligned to acuity, infection prevention, quality improvement, and regulatory readiness, with a compensation starting at $115k plus bonus

Qualifications

• Current RN license with no restrictions for the state of operation.
• Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, falls, hydration and infection control.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare leadership role.
• Experience with an EMR system preferred.
• Infection Prevention Certification within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor clinical staff, delivering person-centered care.
• Ensure staff levels match resident acuity across care levels.
• Monitor infection control for staff and residents and develop policies.
• Oversee clinical quality areas: wound care, infection control, falls, pain, dehydration.
• Participate in Wound Rounds, Operations Meetings, PI/RM/S committees.
• Review outcomes to meet national/state/Erickson benchmarks.
• Collaborate with DON to plan and maintain the clinical budget.
• Partner with leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
