Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Lab Specialist to support student success by preparing, assisting, and resetting nursing lab sessions. You will coordinate with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to ensure smooth operation of instructional labs and simulations, while maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in healthcare-related area or equivalent experience.
• Previous health care experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with nursing lab equipment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing lab sessions with the Lab Manager and faculty.
• Maintain and purchase nursing lab supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate updates, service, and replacement of nursing lab equipment.
• Operate and control the Hi-Fidelity patient simulator as per faculty specs.
• Run simulations, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and debrief system.
• Set up simulation and skills labs for effective academic sessions.
• Organize and restock lab supplies.
• Deliver simulated scenarios per academic plan.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols.
