Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing in Phoenix seeks a Nursing Lab Specialist to support student success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions.

You will work with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate sessions, maintain supplies, operate simulators, and ensure safety throughout simulations.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a healthcare field, healthcare experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with nursing lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires an associates degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous healthcare experience required.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with nursing lab equipment preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate instructional nursing lab sessions with the Lab Manager.
• Maintain and purchase nursing lab supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate updates and service of nursing lab equipment.
• Operate the Hi-Fidelity mannequin simulator per faculty specs.
• Run patient simulator, camera, and debrief system and troubleshoot issues.
• Set up simulation and skills labs for academic sessions.
• Organize and restock lab supplies.
• Deliver simulation scenarios according to the academic plan.
• Adhere to safety protocols during duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
