Job summary

WGU is seeking a part-time Simulation Technician Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT, to support nursing education in the Clinical Learning & Simulation Center. You will prepare and run high-fidelity simulations, manage lab equipment and supplies, and assist faculty and students throughout pre- and post-simulation activities.

Must have a high school diploma and at least 3 years of professional experience. The role requires a flexible schedule and technical comfort with simulation technologies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot simulation equipment and software.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain simulation lab spaces and props.
• Orient and onboard students and staff to the simulation lab.
• Manage lab supplies and scheduling of Learning Lab space.
• Support department meetings and Prelicensure Simulation Committee goals.
