Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Nursing Student for the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSTICU) internship. The Nurse Intern will gain hands-on experience under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing clinical procedures and direct patient care.

Schedule is PRN and Swing with a minimum of one shift every six weeks; internships are paid opportunities for students enrolled in an accredited RN program with a graduation date in 2026/2027 or 2027/2028.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited RN program with Fundamentals of Nursing completed
• Graduation expected in 2026/2027 or 2027/2028
• Currently enrolled nursing students only

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures and provide patient care under supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Support health care team members and assist with patient care activities
• May perform technical tasks per unit competency validation, while refraining from licensed tasks

Saint Luke's Hospital is looking for a Nursing Student to join the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Position: Nurse Intern - MSTICU

Schedule: PRN; Swing ; Minimum 1 shift per 6 week schedule

The Nursing Intern is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed a Fundamentals of Nursing course and have a graduation date in 2026/2027. The Nursing Intern performs clinical procedures and provides patient care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Performs direct and indirect patient care activities. Provides support to other health care team members. The Nursing Intern may perform technical tasks per unit competency validation. However, Nursing Interns are restricted from performing any licensed tasks.

The Nurse Intern position is for students currently enrolled in an accredited RN program who have completed the Fundamentals of Nursing. We are currently looking for nursing students whose expected graduation date is in 2027/2028.
