Job summary

Concorde Career Colleges is seeking a Nursing Instructor for the LVN program in California. This full-time role requires didactic and clinical instruction, delivering high-quality hands-on education in classrooms, labs, and during campus activities.

The instructor will develop curricula, assess student progress, and ensure adherence to industry standards. Candidates must have 3+ years of clinical nursing experience and an active California RN license.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; bachelor degree preferred.
• Must have over three (3+) years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of California.
• Direct experience as a nursing instructor teaching didactics/theory and clinical fundamentals in a post-secondary educational environment is required.
• Demonstrate and explain clinical skills accurately, and ensure safe, evidence-based clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner.
• Foster and maintain an orderly, controlled, and safe environment for students in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain curriculum accuracy by keeping up to date on industry standards and practices.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
• Provide hands-on training and simulated scenarios to reinforce learning.
• Provide periodic and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders.
