Concorde-Career-College is seeking a RN Nursing Instructor for the LVPN program. This full-time, 40-hour week role requires didactic/theory and clinical instruction experience, and offers an hourly rate of $52.00.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required; bachelor degree preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in California.
• Direct experience as nursing instructor teaching didactics/theory and clinical fundamentals in a post-secondary environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives clearly.
• Foster a safe, orderly environment in classrooms and labs.
• Prepare training aids and equipment for classroom and lab use.
• Maintain curriculum accuracy by staying current with industry standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams and practicals.
• Provide feedback and support to help students succeed.
• Identify at-risk students and create individualized plans.
• Engage with students to meet program competency requirements.
• Provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Meet with students and education personnel on instructional programs.
• Deliver regular interaction with online course components.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics and procedures.
