Job summary

Unitek Learning seeks a nursing instructor in Idaho Falls to collaborate with instructors, prepare and grade exams, and ensure accurate attendance and grading records. You will help plan clinical experiences and assess student performance against clinical outcomes, maintaining up-to-date safety practices and participating in program committees.

Required BSN degree with at least 3 years bedside RN experience.

Qualifications

• BSN degree and 3 years bedside as an RN in the field required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with instructors in preparing, administering, and grading examinations for the course.
• Responsible for assuring class attendance and grades are kept and submitted
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives to ensure quality of program
• Plan and supervise student clinical experience in assigned health care facilities
• Evaluates student performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes as per program policies
• Provide feedback of clinical performance or events immediately after observation
• Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in committee activities supporting the nursing program
