Job summary

Cross Country Search assists a Topeka, Kansas client in recruiting a Nursing Instructor. The role offers a competitive salary and opportunities to influence curriculum and student outcomes.

You will teach nursing courses, engage students with varied methods, mentor future nurses, and contribute to program development. A nursing degree, active RN license, CPR certification, and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required
• Active RN license that has never been encumbered
• Active CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• At least 1 year of RN clinical experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Previous teaching/training experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership abilities
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Teach nursing courses, engage students through varied teaching strategies, support learning objectives, develop curriculum, and mentor future nurses toward success.
• Support learning objectives and curriculum development through effective teaching methods and assessment.
