The successful candidate will teach undergraduate clinical nursing courses focused on patient care within the nursing curriculum and provide advising to students across the program.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in nursing, and a two-year RN clinical background with an active SC license or Compact state license; doctoral degree for graduate programs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required; doctoral for graduate programs.
• Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience.
• Teaching experience at undergraduate level preferred.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in SC or Compact state.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses with emphasis on patient care.
• Provide complete advising to students and maintain advising folders.
• Maintain office hours and meet grading deadlines.
• Participate in committee work, professional activities, and university events.
