The nursing instructor provides direct supervision and instruction for nursing students in diverse settings. The instructor collaborates with course faculty and other instructors to facilitate student learning, assist in evaluation of clinical performance, foster critical thinking, and promote safe, evidence-based nursing practice.
You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.
Clinical Note:For instructors supporting and working at clinical sites, additional training and orientation may be required. Drug screening and immunizations are required (varies by clinical site).
This position requires a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

Salary Information: The pay range for Part-Time Instructors varies, depending on the type of course, the contact ratio and contact hours. Please refer to our Part-Time Instructor Pay Matrix for detailed information.
The pay range for part-time clinical instructors varies. Pay is calculated based on education and hours. Overnight hours are defined as any hours worked between 7pm to 7am. Weekend hours are defined as any hours worked between 7pm Friday to 7am Monday.
