Job summary

Front Range Community College in Westminster, CO seeks a full-time Nursing Faculty member to teach a full course load across theory, lab, and clinical settings, with emphasis on instructional leadership.

You will mentor part-time instructors, implement new teaching technologies, develop curricula, advise students, and participate in program reviews and accreditation processes. A strong on-campus presence is required, with occasional travel to FRCC campuses.

You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop an innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success are your top priority. You utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.

You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.

This position requires a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

Minimum Qualifications

• A graduate degree in nursing from a national nursing accredited program.
• Two years of full time, or equivalent, professional nursing clinical experience within the last 5 years
• A current unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado or a Compact State

CTE Credential: This faculty position will be teaching Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses. In addition to the qualifications listed above, the selected candidate must have a current CTE credential or the ability to obtain one within one year to teach. Selection Process

The selection process for this faculty position will be conducted through a competitive, merit-based evaluation of all qualified applicants. Preliminary screening will be based on the completed application package submitted by the candidate.
