Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College seeks a full-time Associate of Science in Nursing Instructor to teach courses on the Ben Hill-Irwin and Coffee campuses. The instructor will prepare lesson plans, coordinate lab and clinical experiences, and assist with program curriculum, goals, and outcomes.

The role requires an active Georgia RN license, a nursing degree, and 3+ years of RN experience. Travel between campuses is required, and there may be weekend clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Georgia RN license.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s in Nursing with active pursuit of Master’s within 18 months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience within the last 7 years; CPR/health requirements current.

Responsibilities

• Teach ASN courses in classroom, clinical and laboratory settings.
• Prepare lesson plans and coordinate lab/clinical experiences.
• Assist with curriculum development, syllabi, goals and objectives.
• Advise students and evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Support program accreditation efforts and recruitment/retention activities.
• May include weekend clinical supervision and travel between campuses.
