Job Description:
Job Title: Long Term Care Nurse Educator
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Schedule: 40 hrs
Shift: Full-time, Monday–Friday (availability required for early mornings, night shifts, and occasional Weekends)
Pay Range: $3350.00- $3450.00 Weekly DOE
Job Summary:
We are looking for the Long term care educator - performs the functions of an educator, facilitator, change agent, leader, consultant and researcher in area of expertise. Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of orientation programs. Develops and implements staff development and continuing education programs. The Nurse Educator of Long-Term care will collaborate at all levels of nursing to provide professional development, act as a mentor, and provide clinical coaching. The Nurse Educator of Long-Term Care will develop programs that are in compliance with facility Policies and Procedures and that enhance clinical excellence within the unit. The Nurse Educator of Long-Term Care will provide orientation for new staff and support the unit staff with competency development, and evaluations.
