Position: Online MSN Nursing Instructor - Part Time - Synchronous Live Lectures (Daytime)

Schedule: Most courses are 10-12 hours per week, scheduled between 8am-5pm, with typical blocks from 8-12p, 9:30-3:30, or 11a-4:30p, two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students following the Ross curriculum
• Review lesson plans and prepare for classes
• Grade and electronically record assignments
• Promote student retention and support externship activities
• Perform related duties as required

Requirements

• Online teaching experience with platforms
• MSN degree, preferably with an education focus (NO BSN)
• Part-time availability
• Experience with synchronous online classrooms
• Passion for online nursing education and student engagement
• Proven success in online teaching
• Knowledge of online teaching strategies
• Understanding of the NCLEX test plan
• Compliance with Ohio Board of Nursing rules
• Excellent communication skills
• High-speed internet and computer skills
• At least two years of nursing practice as a registered nurse
• Current RN licensure
• Own equipment: laptop/desktop, webcam, microphone, reliable internet
• Quiet, dedicated workspace
• Residence within driving distance of a Ross campus (MI, OH, IN, KY, TN)
• Adherence to Ross Code of Conduct and Ethics
• Flexible and eager to learn
