Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years as registered nurse in a clinical setting.
• Prior committee involvement.
• Cerner Fundamentals within 6 months of hire.
• ITIL within 6 months of hire.
• ANCC Certification in Nursing Informatics preferred.
• ANCC Certification in other nursing specialty preferred.
• Able to provide home internet access and have personal cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary clinical technology resource for assessment, mapping of workflows and maintenance of clinical information systems.
• Coordinates with Billings Clinic Leadership, staff, IT, affiliates and vendors on planning, analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and support.
• Liaises with end-user clinicians and software vendors to identify problems and opportunities for system enhancements.
• Promotes patient safety and quality by applying informatics concepts and change management.
• Monitors IT environments and recommends revisions to improve outcomes and end-user experience.
