Job summary

Avow Hospice in Naples, FL is seeking an Informatics Nurse to optimize EMR and patient care software applications and to manage informatics day-to-day. The role leads the informatics team to support Avow’s EMR platforms, test and troubleshoot data integrity, system speed, and user productivity, and create reports and integrations across Avow systems.

HIPAA compliance and on-site collaboration are required; some patient care visits may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health informatics preferred; bachelor's in health informatics, nursing or related field, or 4–10 years healthcare IT experience.
• Fluent English communication; RN license in Florida; ANCC RN-BC Informatics preferred.
• Experience with clinical information systems, data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Informatics team to support Avow’s EMR applications and clinical software.
• Create reports and integrations across Avow’s EMR and systems.
• Test, identify, and troubleshoot data integrity, speed, and user productivity.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.
• Provide on-site training and collaboration with staff and vendors.
