Qualifications

• Master's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• CA Registered Nurse (RN) and CNS - Clinical Nurse Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Analyze unit patient care plans for evidence of standards of practice and develop assessment tools.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise staff in applying the nursing process.
• Elect, implement, and evaluate comforting, therapeutic, and preventative nursing measures.
• Coordinate nursing plans with medical plans of care.
• Provide consultation to physicians, nurses and other health care providers.
• Participate in hospital quality improvement and monitor care standards.
