Job summary

Stanford Children’s Health | Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the CPEI Nursing Informatics department in Menlo Park, CA. The role focuses on advanced nursing practice, education, and research within a multidisciplinary team.

The CNS will provide expert clinical care, develop standards of nursing practice, and support care improvements across the unit. Requires Master's degree, RN license, and CNS certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience.
• CA Registered Nurse (RN) license; CNS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with complex health needs within a specific clinical area.
• Use advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate patients.
• Assist health care providers and patients in achieving optimal health outcomes.
• Develop and implement standards of nursing practice.
• Serve as a consultant resource for other health providers.
