Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in New Jersey
- Graduate preparation or significant experience in Nursing Informatics
- Knowledge of nursing curricular design/assessment and BON/CCNE accreditation
- Experience teaching with evidence of teaching excellence
- Commitment to learner-centered teaching
- Experience assessing learning outcomes
- US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing informatics courses in online, hybrid, and face-to-face formats.
- Design, implement, and evaluate nursing informatics curriculum and integrate informatics competencies across nursing courses.
- Integrate AI, clinical decision support, data science, and digital health technologies throughout nursing curricula.
- Develop innovative learning experiences using simulation, virtual learning technologies, and educational technologies.
- Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students and supervise MSN capstones and graduate research.
- Lead continuous quality improvement of informatics education and participate in course and program assessment.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including original research, presentations, and publications, and participate in departmental and University service.
- Coordinate on-campus and off-site clinical learning activities and teach within regular, ABSN, and DEMSN programs as needed.
