Georgian Court University invites applications for full-time 12-month tenure-track Assistant Professors of Nursing at the Lakewood campus. The position focuses on teaching Adult Health and other nursing courses across BSN, ABSN, and DEMSN programs, with involvement in curriculum, labs, student mentorship, and accreditation.

Candidates should have a Master’s in Nursing, NJ RN licensure (or eligibility), and a record of teaching excellence in clinical and classroom settings, including acute care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Licensed or eligible for RN licensure in New Jersey.

• Nursing experience in acute care.
• Evidence of teaching excellence.

• Knowledge of BON and/or CCNE accreditation.
• Must be U.S. work authorized.

Responsabilités

• Engage in scholarly activities, including original research, presentations, and publications.

Salary Range: $80,000–$85,000 Annually

The Department of Nursing at Georgian Court University seeks full-time Assistant Professors of Nursing to support an expanding nursing major. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about teaching and bring creative pedagogy and active learning strategies to the classroom.

These 12-month, tenure-track positions will teach Adult Health and other nursing courses as needed within the BSN, ABSN, and DEMSN programs. Faculty will also contribute to curriculum development, clinical laboratory experiences, student mentoring, assessment, accreditation, scholarship, and program development.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Adult Health and other nursing courses as needed in the BSN, ABSN, and DEMSN programs using active learning strategies.
• Develop, revise, and assess curriculum and clinical laboratory placements and experiences.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and evaluate student learning outcomes.

Teaching responsibilities include the Lakewood campus and may include off-site locations, evenings, weekends, and summer offerings. Faculty also collaborate with clinical instructors and colleagues on clinical learning activities and off-site teaching initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an RN in New Jersey
• Experience teaching in classroom and clinical settings
• Nursing experience in an acute care setting
• Demonstrated evidence of teaching excellence
• Commitment to active, learner-centered teaching
• Experience assessing learning outcomes in courses and programs
• Knowledge of nursing curriculum design/assessment and BON and/or CCNE accreditation
• Ability to work collaboratively with students and faculty
• Ability or willingness to effectively use instructional technologies
• Must be U.S. work authorized

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree strongly preferred
• Strong clinical nursing skillset and recent clinical experience preferred
• Experience in other nursing specialties desirable, including Behavioral Health, Maternal Child, Pediatrics, and/or Community Health
• Familiarity with distance learning desirable
