MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets is seeking a Nursing & ICU Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our clinical team. This role supports veterinary technicians, assists with patient care, documentation, and maintaining clean treatment areas in a fast-paced environment.

We value teamwork, strong client service, and flexibility. Prior veterinary experience is required, and hours may include evenings and weekends with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi-task, self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• Work successfully as a team member and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care
• Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
• Assist with oversight and care of stable patients
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department
