Job summary

Garden Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Van Driver to safely transport residents to medical appointments and keep the facility vehicle clean and well-maintained. You will support smooth operations by coordinating with medical staff and ensuring emergency equipment is ready for use.

The role requires a valid state driver’s license, at least one year of experience operating a company vehicle, and a clean driving record. This is a full-time position based in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualifications

  • Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Transport residents to medical appointments according to established schedules and allotted times.
  • Assist residents entering and exiting the Facility’s vehicle.
  • Drive Facility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments.
  • Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e. triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) are available and in good working condition.
  • Maintain an incident and accident free driving record.

As a facility Van Driver your primary purpose is to safely transport residents to medical appointments, keep the Facility’s vehicle working properly and in clean condition, and any other responsibilities as may be directed by your Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Facility’s vehicle to events and activities outside the Facility, as necessary.
