Job summary

The Assistant Administrator at Queen of Peace Residence works with the Little Sisters of the Poor to coordinate and oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while promoting the mission of St. Jeanne Jugan.

They will lead across departments, support resident care, oversee HR, finance, activities, and facilities, and pursue licensure with the guidance of the current Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

• Uphold mission and philosophy of the Little Sisters of the Poor.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Ability to interpret internal, state and federal rules.
• Licenses or permits relevant to long-term care operations.
• Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with standard business protocols in HR, accounting, and operations.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with common software and office equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Assist in updating facility assessments and QA meetings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to coordinate and develop programs across the Home.
• Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Support the mission of Saint Jeanne Jugan and promote resident dignity.
• Assist in interviewing resident applicants.
• Participate in quarterly QA meetings.
• Respond to emergencies and evacuations.
• Oversee departments including nursing, HR, dietary, activities, maintenance.
