Job summary

Nexus Health is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our facility maintenance team in upholding a safe, well-maintained nursing home environment. You will oversee repairs, inspections, and general upkeep to support daily operations and resident care.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, a can-do attitude, and a commitment to problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is highly valued.
• A positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to solve problems.
• The job often involves, lifting, walking, and manual labor.
• Knowledge of IDPH and State Regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to repair requests, such as leaky faucets, broken locks, and minor electrical issues.
• Painting, cleaning, and performing general repairs, including replacing tiles or repairing furniture.
• Conducting inspections, maintaining a clean workspace, and organizing tools, often serving as a key supportive role for operations.
