Job summary

Ciena Healthcare in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an experienced Facility Administrator to lead a skilled nursing/subacute care facility. You will drive operational excellence, quality of care, and financial performance while fostering a collaborative environment with staff and partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 3 years of administration in a similar setting. A strong focus on compliance and patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsible for the management, leadership, growth, quality of care and profitability of the facility. Ensures all aspects of facility operations, adhere to the company systems and programs for quality and consistency and compliance. Actively promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision and guiding principles as a representative of the organization. Fosters collegial professional relationships with associated business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Interviews and hires management staff.
• Prepares performance evaluations for staff.
• Meaningfully rewards and disciplines staff.
• Receives and resolves complaints.
• Disciplines employees up to and including discharge.
• Adequately supervises assigned staff and assures that those staff are supervising employees assigned to them.
• Monitors and corrects job performance of management staff.
• Uses independent judgment and discretion on behalf of the organization in the performance of these duties.

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proven leadership ability with at least three (3) years experience as an administrator in either a long term or sub-acute care facility.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Current Administrator’s license in the state.
