Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead the Morton Bakar Center SNF in Hayward, CA, driving clinical and financial success, and managing day-to-day operations with focus on four pillars: clinical quality, workforce engagement, customer satisfaction, and financial security.

The administrator oversees care teams, collaborates with corporate functions and state agencies, and participates in an on-call rotation to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Current CA Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license required.
• Bachelor degree in related field.
• Two years of experience in Administrator position.
• Understanding of community mental health services and psychiatric rehabilitation concepts.
• Must be CPR, First Aid and CPI certified.
• Must be able to drive and have valid license/insurance.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is a key position in driving the organization's success. They are responsible for both clinical and financial success of their Program which contributes the overall success of both Telecare and those we serve. The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing and leading the team of people providing patient care as well as managing the business operations of the Program. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program, which involves ensuring successful management and leadership over the 4 Pillars of performance: Clinical Quality, Workforce Engagement, Customer Satisfaction, and Financial Security. Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all corporate functions and outside consultants and representatives of the program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups.

As part of the Telecare Family, Morton Bakar Center is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) providing psychosocial rehabilitation and skills-building support for older adults (ages 65+) with a primary diagnosis of severe mental illness.

Morton Bakar Center achieved a zero-deficiency result on its last regulatory survey-an accomplishment that reflects the program's strong commitment to quality, compliance, and exceptional care.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | AM/DAYS/NOC/PM | Days: Monday - Friday

Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on-call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.

Expected starting wage range is $144,112.18 - $178,020.88.Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• Current CA Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) License Required
• Bachelor Degree in related field
• Two (2) years of experience in the Administrator position
• Understanding of community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and the recovery philosophy
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual or local requirements may apply
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
