Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking an Administrator to guide a 40-bed Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Oakland. You will oversee clinical and financial performance, lead the care team, and manage daily program operations across four Pillars: Clinical Quality, Workforce Engagement, Customer Satisfaction, and Financial Security.

The role requires on-call rotation participation, driving collaboration with community partners and state agencies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Social Services or Public Health.
• Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in an inpatient health care setting.
• Two (2) years of responsibility supervising professional staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing.
• Must understand community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and the Recovery Philosophy.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands-on course) on date of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment.
• All opportunities contingent upon post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD, background clearances, and licensure verification. Driving requirements if applicable.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Administrator is a key position in driving the organization's success. They are responsible for both clinical and financial success of their Program which contributes the overall success of both Telecare and those we serve. The individual in this role is responsible for overseeing and leading the team of people providing patient care as well as managing the business operations of the Program. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Program, which involves ensuring successful management and leadership over the 4 Pillars of performance: Clinical Quality, Workforce Engagement, Customer Satisfaction, and Financial Security. Additionally, the Administrator collaborates with all corporate functions and outside consultants and representatives of the program to State/County agencies, community partners, and consumer groups. Employees in this role are required to participate in a structured on-call rotation, remaining accessible and prepared to respond to work-related needs within a designated timeframe. Rotations are scheduled in advance. While on-call, employees must actively monitor communications (e.g., phone, email) and respond in accordance with operational protocols.

Shifts Available:

Full-Time | DAYS | Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | Days: Monday - Friday plus on call responsibilities

Expected starting wage range is $125,258.42 - $154,736.95. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Social Services or Public Health
• Four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in an inpatient health care setting
• Two (2) years of responsibility of supervising professional staff, budgeting, program planning, and licensing
• Must understand community mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation concepts, and the Recovery Philosophy
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified (hands‑on course) on date of employment or prior to providing direct client care and maintain current certification throughout employment
• All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post‑offer physical examination, 2‑step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver's license, a motor vehicle clearance and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual or local requirements may apply

• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.

• Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)

• Paid Time Off: Eligible employees (20+ hours/week) earn PTO each pay period for vacation and personal needs, with pro‑rated accrual for part‑time schedules and annual carryover up to set caps.

• Nine Paid Holidays & Shift differentials for hourly staff (6% for PM Shift, 10% for NOC Shift). Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend NOC Shift)
