Job summary

Life Care Centers of America’s San Luis Care Center in Alamosa, Colorado seeks a Nursing Home Administrator to lead overall facility operations for quality patient care in line with laws and Life Care standards.

You will oversee financial, human resources, customer service, business development, and clinical operations; implement policies and manage budgets; ensure compliance with regulations and maintain confidentiality while upholding a high standard of professionalism.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Nursing Home Administrator license in the applicable state. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• Three (3) or more years' post acute care experience preferred.
• Certification with American College preferred (ACHCA).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for overall facility operations to ensure quality patient care in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Oversee key areas including financial operations, human resources, customer service, business development, and clinical operations.
• Implement policies pertaining to patient care, caregiving, and support staff, financial control, public relations, and maintenance of physical plant through consultation with the facility management team.
• Manage budget to meet facility needs and division goals in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local, and JCAHO requirements; serve as the facility's Compliance Liaison.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships; follow Life Care's Code of Conduct and mandatory compliance training.
