Job summary

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead one of our skilled nursing facilities in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on shaping the facility's strategy, operations, and outcomes with a commitment to accountability and resident-centered care.

You will oversee clinical and administrative teams, drive regulatory readiness, and manage budgets and performance improvement programs while promoting teamwork and ethical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required; degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred.
• Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license in Illinois is required.
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Knowledge of nursing facility operations, reimbursement regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct day-to-day operations of the facility and programs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to department directors, promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain facility policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure residents' rights, quality of care, and quality of life standards are upheld at all times.
• Interpret and communicate facility policies to staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
• Oversee risk management, quality assurance, infection control, and performance improvement programs.
• Monitor facility budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to meet organizational goals.
• Lead departmental meetings, training programs, and staff development initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including PHI.
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
