Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to direct daily facility functions in Springfield, IL, ensuring compliance with federal and local standards to deliver high-quality resident care.

You will oversee program development, policy implementation, and staff training while monitoring safety, financials, and regulatory adherence to protect residents’ rights and welfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration or health-related degree preferred.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator license.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and nursing practices and procedures, as well as applicable laws and guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret financial records and reports.
• Ability to communicate policies, procedures, regulations, and reports to staff, residents, families, visitors, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility’s programs and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the governing board.
• Assist department directors in policy development and adherence to professional standards of practice.
• Ensure all staff, residents, visitors follow facility policies and procedures.
• Conduct daily meetings during inspections to discuss survey findings and corrective actions.
• Assist in developing plans of correction with timetables and monitoring methods.
• Review workforce competence and make necessary adjustments.
