Athens Health and Rehab in Athens, PA is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead our skilled nursing facility. This full-time role requires an active PA NHA license and a commitment to regulatory compliance, resident care, and operational excellence.

You will oversee daily operations, budgeting, census development, staff leadership, and performance surveys, partnering with physicians and support teams to maintain survey readiness, high-quality care, and engaging community

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania NHA license in good standing.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Proven leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, financial management, and operational oversight.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality care and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all day-to-day facility operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Maintain survey readiness and oversee successful state and federal inspections.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
• Lead and support department heads to achieve operational and clinical goals.
• Promote high-quality resident care and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with physicians, consultants, and healthcare providers to ensure effective clinical programs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor facility policies and procedures.
• Oversee staffing strategies, employee retention, and leadership development.
• Foster a positive, resident-centered culture throughout the facility.
• Ensure the facility maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.
• Drive census growth and community engagement initiatives.
