Job summary

Waters Edge Health & Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead our skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center. This role directs clinical, operational, financial, regulatory, and resident-care functions to drive quality outcomes and high team engagement.

The ideal candidate holds a Wisconsin NHA license, has prior leadership in long-term care, and demonstrates knowledge of CMS regulations, surveys, and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) License required.
• Experience leading a nursing home/long-term care or post-acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, reimbursement, survey processes, quality measures, budgeting, and healthcare operations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily operations of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility.
• Provide leadership and direction to department heads and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, CMS, and local regulatory requirements.
• Ensure survey readiness and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Drive occupancy, admissions, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Manage budgets, financial performance, labor management, and operational efficiency.
• Develop, coach, and retain high-performing leaders and staff.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, physicians, hospitals, and the surrounding community.

Position Summary

The Nursing Home Administrator provides executive leadership for all clinical, operational, financial, regulatory, and customer service functions of the facility. This leader is responsible for driving quality outcomes, employee engagement, census growth, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding experience for residents and families.

Qualifications

Successful leadership experience as a Nursing Home Administrator, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, Executive Director, or Administrator in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care setting.

Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, reimbursement, survey processes, quality measures, budgeting, and healthcare operations.

Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
